Soleus Run for the Aspins

run for the aspins posterWe all know that animals, like humans, have feelings too. And like anyone of us, they need to be loved and cared for. But, as you can see, not everyone does that. You’ve heard and read about animal cruelty. And the sad thing about it is, they cannot defend for themselves.

Whenever I do my runs, there’s a lot of stray dogs wandering around the streets. Though some of them look fine, one cannot deny the fact that they have been left to stray.

The Soleus Run for the Aspins is dedicated to help the advocacy of the Philippine Animal Rescue Team (PART), which takes care of the welfare of the rescued animals, making sure that they are fed. They also process adoption of the rescued animals to ensure that they are not just taken care of, but they get to have a family to belong to. The main thrust of the race is to spread the vision of PART, that is to effect change in society by raising awareness against dog cruelty and abuse, promote responsible pet ownership and spread compassion for animals.
