Celebrating Christmas with Zoomanity Group

Zoomanity Group, one of the leading companies in the theme park industry, opened its doors to close to 600 kids from different charities and foundations for a day of fun and gift-giving on December 5 and 13. As “Christmas is for children,” the Christmas Gift Giving by the Zoomanity Group has become an annual tradition to share the blessings and give back to the community, especially to the less fortunate and under privilege children.

On December 13, I had the opportunity to join the activity at Zoocobia Fun Zoo in Clark and Zoobic Safari in SBMA. While waiting for the event to start, we toured the place. Zoocobia Fun Zoo offers exciting activities to its guests. Mountain bikes are available for rent for those who want to experience the thrill of the terrain around the park. Animal attractions will certainly be a delight to kids and adults alike. The Birds of Paradise houses lovebirds, which by the way, you can interact with by feeding them as they will land on your palm, there are parrots who aren’t shy to have a photo taken with you and well, there are owls, but you don’t want to come near an owl, do you? To make the tour more exciting, we tried the Zooc Ride. It’s kart ride through a downhill stretch of cemented pavement with some twists for an added excitement.

We finished the tour just in time for the gift giving activity to commence. About 150 kids from the neighbouring Gawad Kalinga community were the recipients of the gift bags and packed lunch prepared by Zoomanity Group. As soon as our guests were all in, gift bags were handed out and lunch was served. After the activity, we boarded the coach and headed to Zoobic Safari.

It was quite a long ride from Clark. But it can never get boring because what excites me is the thought of being able to help and make this season truly worth remembering for some children.

The auditorium was already full of children and the program has just started when we arrived in Zoobic Safari. That was around 3 in the afternoon. So to make sure the kids are home by sundown, the kids lined up to facilitate the distribution of gift bags and lunch. Holding the gift bags, the smiles painted on the children’s faces were so priceless. The long trip to Subic and back to Manila was all worth it.

A KPop Weekend at the Zoomanity Theme Parks with Asha and Fameus

KPop fans got up close with two Korean pop groups Asha and Fameus in a limited engagement at the Zoomanity theme parks. Fresh from their first major concert in the Philippines held at the Ynares Gym in Pasig the night before, Korean Pop groups Fameus and Asha visited Zoomanity Theme Parks – Paradizoo in Mendez, Cavite, and Residence Inn in Tagaytay on September 19, 2015.

The first stop of the two KPop bands and the whole entourage was at the Paradizoo in Mendez, Cavite. It was almost mid-day and the temperature was getting hot, the young artists didn’t look tired and they never complained. In fact, they had fun feeding the rabbits. The boys even had their photo taken with a five-legged cow! To the delight of the fans who have been waiting since morning, the boy band Fameus entertained the audience with a song number. And it was not just a song number, because they did their own cover of the song Na Sa’Yo na ang Lahat, to which the crowd sang along. Fameus and Asha also entertained a few questions from the fans. Guess what the boys love? Halo-Halo, and the chicken meals from a homegrown fastfood!

The second and final stop of the weekend tour was at the Residence Inn in Tagaytay. The fans have already anticipated their arrival. So upon alighting the coaster, fans can’t help but take photos of Asha girls and the Fameus boys. In no time, the open mini-theatre was quickly filled with fans. The group yet made another performance. This time, Fameus not only did one song, but two – both Filipino songs! How nice was that? They made a big effort to memorise and learn the songs just to entertain their fans! And to fully enjoy the weekend, Fameus and Asha tried one of the favourite rides at Residence Inn, the Zipline.

While fans were treated to a weekend of fun and KPop entertainment, Zoomanity Group is happy to announce that all teachers can avail of the free entrance to all Zoomanity Theme Parks namely Paradizoo (Mendez, Cavite), Residence Inn (Tagaytay), Zoobic Safari (SBMA), Zoocobia Fun Zoo (Clark), Zoocolate Hills (Loboc, Bohol), until October 15, 2015. Make sure to bring your ID.
