VXI Global Inaugurates Flagship Site at Five E-Com Centre


The business process outsourcing (BPO) industry is one of the fastest growing employment opportunities in the country. A littler more than a decade ago, I first joined the BPO industry. Not having graduated from college, I felt that I am the most inferior from among the applicants. However, equipped with some skills, I passed the recruitment process and landed a job as a customer service associate for a stock transfer agent headquartered in New York, USA.

Since then, I’ve seen how the industry progressed and how it helped thousands of Filipinos and their families. I for one, was able to work my way through college because of BPO.

Many BPO companies have surfaced in a span of ten years. Some have become non-existent. And a few good companies have survived the challenges of the country’s social, economic and political woes. This is because, the country is a pool of talented individuals who can deliver customer service at its best.

To further provide its employees with enriching experiences during their tenure, VXI involves the employees to corporate social activities. The company has participated in the Service Management Program (SMP) of IBPAP and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to train upcoming graduates for jobs in various business sectors. A total of 73 students from Laguna State University were the recipients of the program as interns in the company’s call centre operations.
