Run United 4: The Recovery Run

Run United 4: Recovery RunWhether you did a short but hard run or a long distance race, you deserve a good rest and very good recovery run. “A good recovery run should be done in an easy pace, about 15 to 45 minutes in duration within 24 hours after your hard workout session or race. The key for a very good recovery run is to RUN SLOW,” shared Coach Ani de Leon – Brown, who is a triathlete herself.

This year, UniLab Active Health brings all 2014 Run United trilogy finishers an event to further emphasize the importance of recovery run and how it can improve their performance.

Unilab Active Health introduces the first of its kind Recovery Run happening on December 14, 2014. This non-competitive event holding three race categories is an exclusive running event for all finishers of the 2014 Run United Trilogy. If you have finished one, two or all RU races for the year, you’re IN!

5k and 10k runners will have the privilege to run with recovery pacers! A Recovery Village also awaits all finishers.
